It is amazing to realize that I met Jeanne 54 years ago in 7th grade at St. Joseph Grammar School in Pomona, California. Little did we know that when our mothers encouraged us to get to know one another we would continue as friends these many long years. We certainly have tales to tell but we are good at keeping our confidences. Jeanne is the perfect friend and God has blessed me greatly with her friendship. Below is a recent picture taken when Jeanne visited me this past summer. Also, the poem below could not more accurately describe the friend that Jeanne has always been to me.
